Folk-Pop and Waka Fuji artist Oyinkansola emerges on the music scene with a new single “TE’PA,” featuring Fuji-minister & Spaghetti records head Mike Abdul.
According toOyinkansola, TE’PA is a Yoruba phrase which means to “Trample on” Satan, – a proclamation of our true identity in Jesus. On this banging Trap vibe with a nice twist produced by the prolific Tyanx, Oyinkansola established that JESUS is enough, and in Him, we have victory over the devil.
“I’m more than a conqueror; His word is alive in me
I have the Victory, Jesus Christ lives in me” She Sings
“I urge you all to singalong and boldly declare your identity in Christ with the words on this track, confronting every challenge, trials, attacks, temptation, and affliction. These confessions resist the devil, and he’ll flee from you. We await your testimonies” – Oyinkansola
Oyinkansola is a secular-turned-gospel artiste and seasoned singer who grew up listening to indigenous greats like Salawa Abeni and Barrister (Fuji Music), Sunny Ade, and Ebenezar Obey (Juju). As she grew into her late teens and early twenties, she discovered and fell in love with contemporary music.
Oyinkansola, who also plays the acoustic guitar, has been in the music scene for a decade with a body of works that features GT Da Guitarman, Brymo, and Falz. Her miracle of salvation came in 2013 after she rededicated her life to Christ, fulfilling God’s purpose and accepting the call to minister to His people via songs.
Her newest single TE’PA follows “This Year,” a song of prayer and prophecy which she premiered on the 1st day of this year 2019.
