Sola Allyson — “Yoo Da“
On Gospel Music Review this week, we are loking into Shola Allyson new single “YOO DA”
The first word that comes into my mind when I listen to a song written and sang by Sola Alyson is “incredible” this is how special her voice is.
Her vocal is definitely he most priced possession.
Anytime you listen to a song by Sola Allyson you definitely get blown off for example “iba”, “isinmi”and her first ever release “eji owuro”.
She has found her own special way to stay relevant, thriving in the Industry, where the likes of Tope Alabi who is also a powerhouse in the gospel niche.
I really do love this song ” Yoo Da” the production was very exquisite expect for the part where I think the backup was louder than her voice.
We want to hear what she has to say. Apart from that flaw I think the production was spot on.
I love that she also backs up her songs, it shows how prolific she is but I think I speak for us all when I say we would love to hear something different from her.
Her music has been 2 same. I think what has kept her relevant till date is the uniqueness of her vocal prowess.
Also what more do you expect from a vocal coach who has been blessed with sure a voice.
I love her piece with Adekunle Gold “alujanjankijan” and I felt for a moment we would probably be witnessing a redefined Sola Allyson until now.
So in my opinion this week on Gospel Music Review is,
I feel she has too dig deeper to get us something different.
